This painting was done for the Quest For The West Show. It was painted almost as a joke . I do not ,or am not know for painting any other genre , than historical. However it is a WESTERN themed show and people at this show have known me for many years and know that I am half crazy. Therefore I painted and exhibited something different that really impressed me. Living in the east ... visiting friends in Arizona .. I do not usually get to see these old old wonders of nature very often. They are impressive. I tried to design and paint their majesty ... and add the wren for title & scale.
